Technological Machinery and Equipment
The Master's Program provides students with a high-quality basic education in mechanical engineering.
The program offers courses that combine engineering theory and practice, focusing on the design and development of various mechanical devices and equipment. Students receive a profound training in engineering and skills of computer-assisted drafting and manufacturing (CAD/CAM).
Project work takes about a quarter of the program. The projects simulate real work tasks, connecting theory and actual design, manufacture and testing of projects.

Practical Artificial Intelligence
The Master`s program focuses on various applications of data science and data analysis. Students learn how to build artificial intelligence systems using state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms. The program is for software developers and engineers, mathematicians and computer science specialists, who want to move to the data science field.
The program covers three areas: - Machine learning algorithms and methods including both classic machine learning and modern deep neural networks. - Various applications of machine learning systems such as computer vision, natural language processing, and time series analysis. - Software development for building machine learning systems including Python programming, Big Data Processing, and DevOps.

Food Biotechnology
The Master's Program covers different aspects of studies of microorganisms, cell cultures of animals and plants, biological active substances, processes of homeostasis and human nutrition, conversion of raw materials to products using biocatalysts, e.g. enzymes and microorganisms, principals of genetic and metabolic engineering and techniques for determination of effects of genetic-modified products on bio-objects.
Special attention is paid to application of specific equipment for studying properties of microorganisms and cell cultures produced using different substances in laboratory and industry, training in engineering calculations of apparatus and equipment for implementing biotechnological processes of food and biological additives production, biocatalysis and biocatalytic technologies and to methods of quality control of raw materials, half-finished and final products.
Another focus of the Program — in-depth studying of such biotechnological processes as manufacturing of beer and low-alcohol drinks, milk products production and conversion of plant raw materials and food additives.

Cognitive Neurosciences
The Master's Program consists of interdisciplinary and applied subjects exploring theoretical and methodological fundamentals of neurocognitive science, studying the brain and cognitive processes. The program comprises theoretical training in the field of brain research and neurocognitive processes: neurology, neuropsychology, principles of neuroscience, neurocognitive development of children, methods of brain research and approaches to neurorehabilitation.
In the frame of the Program scientific-practical facilities of the Laboratory of Brain and Neurocognitive Development and Lab of Neurotechnologies with most advanced equipment are used: 128-channels Geodesic EEG System 300 with Geodesic Photogrammetry System (GPS) 3.0, SMI RED 500 Eye-tracker, Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development - 3rd Edition (BSID III).

IT Innovations in Business
The Master's Program is a unique multidisciplinary program that provides with the knowledge and skills necessary to maximize the potential of digital technology to keep up with the development of technology and achieve success in business.
The program gives an understanding of the features of interaction between business and IT and covers all areas of knowledge necessary for this — project management, entrepreneurship, web development, data analysis, enterprise architecture and IT infrastructure, knowledge of networks and security.

The Master's Program covers the following issues:

Adventitious species: a threat to native (autochthonous) biodiversity or its completion? 5. Biodiversity in a changing climate and under the human impact;

Artificial Intelligence for Power Industry Applications
Within the framework of the program we graduate future system analysts, specialist in the field of Data Science and design of adaptive intelligent systems for the Fuel and Energy Sector.
The program is implemented together with the group of companies RTSoft – international engineering company specialized in industrial automation, intelligent software development for different fields of industry, including the Energy Sector.
Learners of the program will be guided through the following key topics:

UrFU has one of the best schools for learning russian as a foreign language. The Preparatory Faculty offers Russian language courses designed to prepare for entrance exams and study at Russian universities in bachelor's, master's and postgraduate programs in various specialties.
Intensive Russian language training is conducted in one of five profiles:

A student of the Preparatory Department receives a certificate confirming the level of proficiency in the Russian language and results in subjects.
