North-Caucasus Federal University (NCFU) is a flagship university of the North Caucasian Federal District established through a merger of three universities located in the Stavropol Region — North-Caucasus State Technical University, Stavropol State University and Pyatigorsk State University for Humanities & Technology in 2012. NCFU has more than 24,000 students, including 1,300 international students. NCFU is currently running 156 Bachelor's, Master's and PhD programs and over 700 professional development programs.

Oil and Gas Engineering
Oil & Gas Engineering is concerned with the exploration for and extraction of hydrocarbons, e.g. crude oil and natural gas. Oil & Gas Engineers use creative and imaginative knowledge of petroleum geology, reservoir behaviour as well as fundamental engineering principles to develop effective and safe solutions for the exploration, recovery and transportation of hydrocarbon products trapped underground, onshore or offshore, and in very challenging environments.

Power and Electrical Engineering
Students receive a strong foundation in measurement systems, analog and digital signal conditioning, microprocessor hardware and software, industrial electronics, and rotating machinery. The manufacturers of electrical systems and machines need electrical power technologists who are familiar with machines and machine controls, both traditional and computer-controlled. Graduates are working in petrochemical companies, food manufacturing, steel processing, utilities, electrical equipment, sales, manufacturing and testing, and a host of other diverse industries.

The Programme is aimed at students who aspire to become incorporated engineers and wish to study building and construction with an emphasis on engineering practice and its role within construction.
Construction managers plan, organise, and control all aspects of large and complex construction projects. They have highly developed managerial skills and advanced technical knowledge of construction processes. They work in construction companies, insurance organisations, manufacturing organisations, and government departments, as property developers and project management consultants.

Student dormitories are up-to-date, equipped with furniture and bathroom units, built for students and their needs: studying rooms, internet, cafeteria. Shared kitchens are equipped with ovens. Students will be provided with all necessary bedding (mattress, pillow, blanket, bedspread and bed clothes).
